Gappa <br />Title Director of Public Services <br />Administrator Reviewed:Agenda Section: <br />Engineer ’s Report <br />Item Description: Change Order #2, Navarre Water Treatment Plant Rehabilitation <br />This change order is for pressure grouting of the concrete floor slab in the Navarre water <br />treatment plant. During the pi mt rehabilitation project, it was discovered that the original sand <br />fill under the concrete floor slab has settled resulting in voids under the slab. This could result in <br />settlement and cracking of the floor slab and possible pipe breakage or equipment damage. This <br />problem can be corrected by injecting grout to fill the void spaces under the floor. <br />We are recommending approval of a change order for completion of this pressure grouting by <br />Solidification Inc., through the existing contract with Shank Constructors. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to approve Change Order #2 in the amount of $6,000 for pressure grouting of the concrete <br />floor slab in the Navarre water treatment plant.
