A RESOLUTION TO DECLARE THAT THE <br />PART-TIME POSITION HELD BY <br />JEFFREY D. JOHNSON <br />IS THAT OF A POLICE OFFICER <br />WHEREAS, that Public Employees Retirement Association Police and Fire Fund <br />excludes part-time police officers unless a resolution is adopted by the governing body to establish <br />eligibility for coverage in the Police and Fire Fund. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of <br />Orono, Hennepin County, Minnesota that effective April 19,1999, the position Jeffrey D. Johnson <br />holds is that of a police officer as defined in Minnesota Statutes, Section 353.64, Subdivision 2, <br />pursuant to which said employee shall become a member of the Public Employees Retirement <br />Association Police and Fire Fund. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting <br />held May 10, 1999. <br />ATTEST:Gabriel Jabbour, Mayor <br />Linda S.
