MNDOT has authorized $130,000 for <br />the closure of the TH 12 intersection and construction of a cul-de-sac south of the railroad tracks. <br />The remainder of the money is for the reclaiming and repaving of Stubbbs Bay Road north of <br />Watertown Road. Once this road is a dead end road, it can no longer be designated as a State Aid <br />Street North of Watertown Road, so this project will provide funds for a long term repair and <br />upgrading of the pavement section. <br />The plans and specifications will need to be submitted to MNDOT for final approval of the <br />Cooperative Agreement. Construction of this project is planned for this summer. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to approve City Engineer preparation of plans and specifications to complete a <br />Cooperative Agreement project with Ml^OT for the closure of the TH12/Stubbs Bay Road <br />intersection. <br />\ <br />r
