B <br />(5) Underground gas, electric, and telephone service to be arranged by <br />Developer with the utility companies (hereinafter, referred to "utility <br />improvements"). <br />(6) Standard street name signs and street lights at all new intersections <br />and other such traffic control signs for the subdivision as may be <br />appropriate, to be installed by the City, at the cost of the Developer. <br />Construction Plans and Approval Thereof. The Subdivider has engaged <br />at Subdivider's expense a Minnesota registered civil engineer to prepare <br />detailed plans and specifications for the complete installation of all Plan A <br />Improvements in accordance with City standards, including preparation of <br />estimates, special contract provisions, preparation of proposal forms and <br />designation and description of all necessary temporary and permanent <br />easements. Such plans and specifications are based upon such engineering <br />surveys, including such soil borings and material tests as were determined to <br />be necessary by the City Engineer. Such plans and specifications shall be <br />attached to this agreement as exhibits as set forth in Exhibit D, and shall be <br />subnutted to be approved in writing by the City Engineer and the Director of <br />Public Services prior to the approval of the final plat, and/or prior to the start <br />of construction of any Plan A Improvement. <br />The Subdivider through his engineer shall provide for competent daily <br />inspection of all Plan A Improvements, both public and private. Inspection <br />report copies shall be provided by the Subdivider ’s engineer to the City <br />En^neer and Director of Public Services on a weekly basis. As-built <br />drawings wth service and valve ties on reproducible mylar and certifications <br />by the Subdivider's engineer of completion and compliance with <br />specifications approved by the City shall also be delivered to the City in the <br />form and content approved by the City and shall be approved by the City <br />Engineer and Director of Public Services. <br />Construction of Plan A Improvements. <br />Completion Date. All Plan A Improvements shall be completed not <br />later than as shown on Exhibit E. <br />Approval of Contractors . Any contractor selected by the <br />Subdivider to construct and install any Plan A Improvement must be <br />determined in writing by the City Engineer and Director of Public <br />Services to be acceptable. The City reserves the right to require <br />satisfactory proof of successful experience and adequate financial <br />status of any such contractor. Where required by City ordinances, the <br />contractor shall first obtain a license from the City.
