Regarding long-range planning. Dr. Mich stated that at the last <br />Board meeting the Board of Education had received the North Central <br />Accreditation Association report for the last year which contains <br />recommendations for the future and that in their Board packets they <br />had received a compilation of initiatives from administrative <br />cabinet members which provides understanding as to how the <br />administrative cabinet is proceeding and viewing the future at this <br />time. He pointed out that, now that the Board has the necessary <br />background information, the next step would be for the Board to <br />study/review various ways to initiate the long-range planning <br />process. The consensus was that a Board workshop, for discussion <br />purposes of long-range planning, be held following a regularly <br />scheduled Board meeting towards the end of February or the first <br />part of March. <br />UPON MOTION by Dick Lewis, seconded by Dave McKown, the meeting was <br />adjourned. Motion carried.
