The purpose of the <br />Pay Equity Law is to ensure that males and females in comparable positions receive comparable pay. <br />A copy of the City's report is attached for Council review and approval. The State will analyze the <br />information in the report to determine whether the City is in compliance with the comparable pay <br />requirements of the Pay Equity Law. <br />The State has made available the software used for the analysis so that cities can determine their <br />compliance prior to submitting the report. The City's pay information has been analyzed using this <br />software and has been found to be in compliance with the pay equity requirements. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to approve the City’s pay equity report,
