(.34 acres) <br />This application requires the following variances: <br />Section 10.22, Subd. 2 and Section 10.56, Subd. 16 (L)(2): Lakeshore Hardcover Requirements: <br />Within 75’-250' of the shoreline there shall be no greater than 25% hardcover. To permit a hardcover <br />variance to allow 3,919.76 s.f. (45.4»'o) where 4,701.76 s.f. (54.5%) exists, and 1,725.2 (25%) is <br />allowed in the 75'-250' setback area. <br />Application Summary: The applicant has proposed to remove old rotting steps on the rear of <br />the residence. They will be replaced with maintenance free steps and a covered porch entry. The <br />new steps and covered entry decreases the amount of hardcover in the 75'-25C setback area. Also, <br />the applicant has removed landscape plastic on the west and south sides of the house decreasing the <br />amount of hardcover in the 75-250' area. <br />The applicant seeks approval of a variance for hardcover in the 75'-250' setback area where 4,701.76 <br />s.f.
