City of OROrVO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 1977_ _ _ _ _ <br />Construction of low mounds on left side of fairway #11 <br />averaging 3-5* in height# filling of approximately 75 cubi <br />yards. <br />Fill in the existing bunker on hole #13# approximately 2 <br />cubic yards of fill. <br />Pond on fairway #5# 25'x75*x5' deep# 350 cubic yard <br />excavation. <br />Rebuild bunkers at rear of hole #8# approximately 1000 cubi <br />yards of fill# all on high ground. <br />Extension of the tee #17# filling of approximately 370 cubi <br />yards# all on high ground. <br />Construction of a shelter building# 12'7"xl5*7”# one stor <br />in height# located southeast of tee #12# locate <br />approximately 90* from the nearest property line# an <br />requiring no variances to the zoning code. <br />6. The proposed projects are located in the upper reachc <br />of the watershed; runoff from this area travels though a seri€ <br />of swales# ditches, and wetlands before reaching Lake MinnetonV <br />an approximate distance of 1 mile away; the proposed project <br />are insignificant within the overall watershed and will have r <br />significant effect on the quality or quantity of runoff wat€ <br />entering Lake Minnetonka. <br />7. The City Council has considered the application including t\ <br />findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission# report <br />by staff and comments of the applicant and the effect of tr <br />proposed use on the health# safety and welfare of the community <br />8. The City Council finds that granting a Conditional Use Permit t <br />allow the proposed excavation and construction projects will nc <br />be detrimental to the health, safety or general welfare of tr <br />public, would not adversely affect light, air nor pose « <br />hazard or other danger to neighboring properties, nor will . <br />depreciate surrounding property values and that the <br />level of use of the property will be in keeping with the <br />and objectives of the Zoning Code and Comprehensive Plan of ^ <br />City. <br />COHCLUSIOMS# ORDER AND CONDITIONS <br />• <br />Based upon the above findings# the Orono City Council <br />grants a Conditional Use Permit per Municipal Zoning Code Section lO*-^ <br />2 of 4
