The proposed projects are located in the upper reachc <br />of the watershed; runoff from this area travels though a seri€ <br />of swales# ditches, and wetlands before reaching Lake MinnetonV <br />an approximate distance of 1 mile away; the proposed project <br />are insignificant within the overall watershed and will have r <br />significant effect on the quality or quantity of runoff wat€ <br />entering Lake Minnetonka. <br />7. The City Council has considered the application including t\ <br />findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission# report <br />by staff and comments of the applicant and the effect of tr <br />proposed use on the health# safety and welfare of the community <br />8. The City Council finds that granting a Conditional Use Permit t <br />allow the proposed excavation and construction projects will nc <br />be detrimental to the health, safety or general welfare of tr <br />public, would not adversely affect light, air nor pose « <br />hazard or other danger to neighboring properties, nor will . <br />depreciate surrounding property values and that the <br />level of use of the property will be in keeping with the <br />and objectives of the Zoning Code and Comprehensive Plan of ^ <br />City. <br />COHCLUSIOMS# ORDER AND CONDITIONS <br />• <br />Based upon the above findings# the Orono City Council <br />grants a Conditional Use Permit per Municipal Zoning Code Section lO*-^ <br />2 of 4
