ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MINUTES FOR APRIL 17,2000 <br />PLANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS <br />(#15) REPORT OF PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVES ATTENDING COUNCIL <br />MEETINGS ON MARCH 27.2000 AND APRIL 10. 2000 <br />This item was not discussed. <br />(#16) OTHER ISSUES FOR DISCUSSION <br />Hawn stated any members of the Planning Commission that would be interested in attending <br />the Sensible Land use Coalition seminar need to register with the City by April 24th. <br />Lindquist reported on the joint meeting with the Long Lake Planning Commission, noting that the <br />mooting went well. A second meeting has been scheduled for sometime in June to discuss how <br />Orono foresees the corridor along Highway 12 being developed. <br />Nygard stated both Planning Commissions are to create a list comparing the two cities for discussion <br />at the next meeting. <br />Gaffron indicated he will create a list for review and comment by the members of the Planning <br />Commission. Gaffron stated the list is to help identify the areas where the two cities agree and <br />disagree. <br />(#17) PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR MARCH 20, 2000 <br />Lindquist moved, Nygard seconded, to approve the minutes of the Regular Planning <br />Commission meeting of March 20,2000, as submitted.
