The result of these efforts is the Orono Area Sports Alliance. <br />All cities within the school district have been invited to participate in this organization. <br />When the City Council reviewed this agreement several months ago, a number of questions and <br />concerns were raised, and staff was directed to obtain additional information and clarification <br />regarding the agreement. Since that time, staff has discussed the agreement with Melanie Deluca, <br />Director of Community' Education for the school district, and has asked her to attend the November <br />13 Council meeting to address the Council’s questions. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to provide direction to staff regarding the City’s prjticipation in the Orono Area Sports <br />Alliance. <br />II I I I TllliiIT^Tl Pi'<w
