'irr <br />r <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />tMcii. meeting <br />SEP 2 5 2000 <br />Cl I Y UHO/VO <br />DATE: September 22, 2000 <br />ITEM NO:/c <br />Department Approval:Administrator Reviewed:Agenda Section: <br />Name Ron Moorse If/)City Administrator's <br />Title City Administrator Report <br />Item Description: Scheduling of Council Work Session <br />There are three topics for Council review and discussion at upcoming work sessions. <br />1.The annual City Administrator performance review. <br />2.The review of a new residential Planned Unit Development district being developed <br />by staff that gives the Council zoning flexibility to enable housing options such as <br />senior housing. <br />3.A review of the results of the Police Department organizational review being <br />conducted by PDI, and the review of the Police Chief position profile that will be at <br />least partially based on the results of the organization review. <br />Potential work session dates are as follows: <br />Thursday, October 5, 7:30 a.m. <br />Thursday, October 12,7:30 a.m. <br />Thursday, October 19,7:30 a.m. <br />Thursday, October 26,7:30 a.m. <br />The October 26 date is the only Thursday morning that works for Harry Bnill in terms of the <br />organizational review and the position profile. It would be helpful to finalize the position profile <br />earlier if an earlier date can be found that works for both the Council and Harry. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Motion to select dates and limes for upcoming Council work sessions. <br />*!
