0 <br />L. <br />W <br />5^ <br />I <br />r <br />Agreement No. W-00-02 between the Board of Government Innovation and Cooperation and the <br />Cities of Long Lake and Orono <br />IV. <br />V. <br />VI. <br />REPORTING. The LOCAL GOVERNMI* NT UNITS agrees to provide the BOARD with <br />semi-annual status reports regarding efforts to implement the BOARD approved <br />Consolidation Plan including a copy of the adopted city charter. Such reports are due on the <br />dates listed below: <br />March 15,2001 <br />November 15,2001 <br />and every six months thereafter until the expiration of »he grant agreement, <br />EVALUATION. The BOARD shall, during the course of the agreement, evaluate the <br />LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT’S performance under the terms oi lb*. agreement. The <br />BOARD reserves the right to request additional information the LOCAL <br />GOVERNMENT UNITS to carry out its evaluation. <br />TERM OF AGREEMENT. This agreement shall be effective on August 25,2000, or upon <br />such date as it is executed by the LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNITS and the BOARD, <br />whichever occurs later, and shall remain in effect until November 15,2001. This agreement <br />shall be subject to renewal if both parties agree. <br />VII. CANCELLATION. <br />B.Upon the LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT'S failure to comply with any provision of <br />this agreement, the BOARD may rescind this agreement. The recision shall be <br />effective upon the BOARD giving the LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT written <br />notice at its last known address. <br />C.The BOARD and the LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNITS may mutually agree to <br />cancel this agreement at any time. <br />VIII. RECONSIDERATION. Upon amendment of the statute cited in Paragraph I., the BOARD <br />shall re view the LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT’S need for a temporary, limited exemption, <br />and may require amendments to this agreement or may rescind this agreement. <br />IX. AMENDMENTS. Any amendments to this agreement shall be in writing, and shall be <br />executed by the same parties who executed the original agreement or their successors in <br />office. <br />X. BOARD’S AUTHORIZED AGENT. The BOARD'S authorized agent for the Purposes of <br />administration of this agreement is Jim Gelbmann, Executive Director, or his successor in <br />office. <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />MMii
