The site contains a 2-story residential <br />dwelling, a garage, a storage shed, an icehouse, and a doghouse. A Hazardous Materials Inventory <br />for these structures was completed by Peer Environmental Services. The buildings contain minor <br />amounts of hazardous materials such as asbestos floor tile and peeling lead-based paint. Removal <br />and proper disposal of hazardous materials is included in the quotations received for this project. <br />Below is a tabulation of the quotations received <br />Kevitt Excavating, Crystal Minnesota <br />U.S. Dismantlement, Long Lake, Minnesota <br />Veit Companies, Rogers Minnesota <br />$13,850.00 <br />$12,900.00 <br />$12,150.00 <br />We are recommending approval of the quotation from Veit Companies, Rogers, Minnesota in the <br />amount of $12,150.00. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Approve quotation for demolition of the existing structures on the City owned property at 3790 <br />Shoreline Drive from Veit Companies, Rogers, Minnesota in the amount of $ 12,150.00 to be funded <br />from the Park Fund. <br />Approve Budget adjustment to the Park Fund Budget in the amount of $12,150.00 for structure <br />demolition at 3790 Shoreline Drive.
