rv't-’
dk
■mA*^
FV * sr:'t:rw
‘ ■ 'f ji
'ts
wf(
5f»-li .
?
4'
r- >
>.;
Of the 40 parties hosted in 1998 85% were held during the months of October through April and
of the 37 parties in 1999 78% were held during the same period. These are the months when our
other sports fiicilities are closed and many of our members have gone south for the winter.
The average number of parties a month is 3 and the average number of people attending those *
patties is 36.
Sporadic luncheon service is provided during the Christmas holiday season.
Anticipated Usage Data
The upgrade will result in the addition of approximately 250 square feet of useable space in the
existing bam.
We anticipate providing regular foodservice on weekends during the winter, particularly lunch for
skaters, skiers and paddle tennis players. It is possible that we might have a light diimer menu on
Sunday evenings.
We would be very pleased if we were able to increase the number of parties by 30% or 12 parties
per year.
We would not expect any change in the number of people attending those parties.
Potential Impacts on Backroad
The peak usage time for the bam is when our other fiicilities, golf, tennis and pool have closed for
the winter.
As already indicated we are not anticipating any significant change in the usage of the bam. If
usage increases there might be a small increase in traffic during the winter months however it will
continue to be about one-half of the traffic volume experienced during our peak months of May
through September.
i
