4 <br />The project that was bid did not include any provision for water service to the park. The Park <br />Commission recommended that adding water service to the project was important, if the neighbors <br />wanted to install and maintain landscaping in the park. Without water available maintaining any <br />future landscaping would be very difficult. The estimated cost to inf tall water service and a yard <br />hydrant in the park is $5000. If the Council wants to install water service into the park this work <br />could be completed through a contract change order. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Discuss/Approve motion to award a contract for Navarre Park Improvements to Kolmo <br />Construction; Andover Minnesota in the Amount of $95,329 <br />Discuss/Approve motion to complete a contract change order to install water service in the park <br />at an estimated cost of $5,000. <br />m
