MINNESOTA oVj9l <br />4T.3:.3J3 <br />» Er <br />June 26,2000 <br />Woodhill Countiy Club <br />RE: SRF Consulting Group, Inc - Backroad Trafilc Counts <br />Earlier this year we decided that it would be beneficial to gather information about usage of the backroad. <br />We conducted traffic counts for two periods. Monday April 17* through Sunday April 30* and Monday <br />May 29* through Sunday June 11*. No prior notification was provided to the membership or our <br />employees. <br />The information provides e.xcellent information about usage and confirms usage estimates made last year. It <br />also indicates that there is some limited exiting traffic. The numbers are somewhat tainted bv- the fact that <br />the person closing the gate will often drive down and be counted both ways. We also bcliev c that bicvcles <br />may be counted. <br />The following are conunoits related to some specific activitv*. <br />April 21 & 22 tFridav & Saturdavl - Easter Weekend. e.xcellent vvaather with many golfers. <br />Sunday April 23”* (Easter Sunday) - served over 420 people for lunch and had some 125 golfers. <br />Tuesday April 25* - Program night resulted in heavy traffic counts late in the da)\ <br />Saturday June 3*^ - E.xcellent weather with heavy play on the golf course. <br />aw 11*day June 5* - Club closed however gate was opened to permit the Long Lake Fire Department to <br />inspect grounds and maintenance area. They also used the Club's propertv- for some drills. They entered <br />and e.xited on the backroad Police and Fire from the cities of Orono, Long Lake and Wa>'zata routinely use <br />Woodhill for various training e.xercises. <br />Tuesday June 6* thru Saturday June 10* - Good weather for facilities usage. Bulge at 7 to 8 AM represents <br />people arriving for golf events.
