A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />PER MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.55, SUBDIVISION 9 (B) <br />FILE #2551 <br />WHEREAS, Thomas Michael Randgaard, (hereinafter "the applicant") is the Owner <br />of the property located at 2765 Shady wood Road within the City of Orono (hereinafter "City") and <br />legally described as follows: <br />Tracts E, F, G, H, I, J, Registered Land Survey No. 415, Hennepin County, Minnesota <br />(hereinafter "property"); and <br />WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br />Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br />Commission held public hearings on January 19, 2(XX) and March 20, 2(X)0 at which times all <br />persons desiring to be heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak <br />thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for a conditional use permit to <br />permit a 14 foot extension to an existing permanent dock. <br />Minnesota; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />FINDINGS <br />1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #2551. <br />2. The property is located in the LR-1B Zoning District. <br />3. The Planning Commission recommended by a vote of 5 to 0 to recommend approval <br />of the conditional use permit based on the following: <br />Page 1 of 4
