<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. XXXX <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AGREEMENT FOR <br />JOINT AND COOPERATIVE USE OF FIRE PERSONNEL <br />AND EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a member of the Hennepin County Chiefs <br />Association; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Association has adopted an agreement for joint and <br />cooperative use of fire personnel and equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City of Orono believes the effectiveness of fire protection <br />within the City is improved by adopting this agreement; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Orono City <br />Council that the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized to execute the <br />Hennepin County Chiefs Association Joint Cooperative Agreement for Use of Fire <br />Personnel and Equipment on behalf of the City of Orono as a participating member. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this 23 day of January, 2023, by the City Council of the City of Orono. <br /> <br />CITY OF ORONO <br /> <br />By: _______________________________ <br /> Dennis Walsh, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />______________________________ <br />Anna Carlson, City Clerk <br />
