Contractor’s Project No.: N/A <br />Project: 2022 CSAH 19 Watermain - Phase 1 <br />Contract Name: 2022 CSAH 19 Watermain – Phase 1 <br />Date Issued: 1/9/2023 Effective Date of Change Order: 1/9/2023 <br />The Contract is modified as follows upon execution of this Change Order: <br />• Bituminous Pavement Patching– During construction it was identified that the existing pavement <br />were thicker than the pavement section in the original design. The bituminous patch thickness was <br />increased to match the existing pavement to ensure continuity and minimize future maintenance <br />impacts. The pavement patching quantities were increased to account for the additional bituminous <br />pavement material required. <br />• Ductile Iron Fittings – The existing watermain crossings at multiple intersections throughout the <br />corridor included additional bends than in the original design and as-built information. Additionally, <br />ductile iron sleeves were needed to connect pipe bursting sections to open cut sections due to the <br />existing soil conditions limiting the ability to shift and bend previously pipe bursted piping. <br />• 10” Pipe Bursting – The location and length of the existing watermain system was found to differ <br />than the original design resulting in an increase in overall pipe length associated with the 10” pipe <br />bursting bid item. <br />Detailed Cost Breakdown: <br /> <br />ITEM <br />NO.
