The purpose of this action item is to approve Change Order #1 for the Watermain <br />Replacement Project (22-023). <br /> <br />2. Background. At the January 24th, 2022 council meeting Council authorized the design and engineer <br />of a water main replacement project along CSAH 19 south of CSAH 15. Staff and Bolton and Menk <br />prepared designs and solicited bids. The project was awarded in August 2022 and the majority of the <br />work completed in November 2022. <br /> <br />3. Scope of Work. The project consists of the replacement of the water main the runs south along <br />Shadywood Road (CSAH19) from Shoreline (CSAH15) to Maple Ridge Lane. <br /> <br />4. Cost. The cost of Change order #1 is $54,500. Funding.
