Since the terrain is rolling, a curtain drain is advised to be <br />included in the drainfield design in order to intercept runoff water from <br />entering the drainfield area. This recommendation was discussed with the site <br />planner. <br />The summary also indicates a relatively fast percolation rate for the fine-grained <br />soils at this site. It should be noted that percolation rates do vary as <br />dependent on the season, precipitation, and general soil conditions. <br />Because soil conditions and permeability characteristics are variable across the <br />site, it is recommended that the stakes defining the drainfield areas be surveyed. <br />
