m <br />m <br />Minutes of a Regular Meeting of the Planning Conunission held April 15, <br />1968 Page 2 <br />Bennie Foss; Division DIVISION <br />Bartig moved, Nicholls seconded, that the <br />division of property for Bennie Foss at <br />565 Old Crystal Bay Road, be recommended <br />for approval. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br />V.F.W.; Building Permit BUILDING PERMIT <br />Mr. Peirce and Mr. Hentschel were present, <br />representing the V.F.W. on their proposed <br />club on Lot 7, part of Lot 22, Block 6, <br />Navarre Heights. The decision of the <br />Attorney was read, stating that the usage <br />of 17 parking spaces in the Municipal Parking <br />Lot was legal. CounciImar Stubbs asked the <br />representing gentlemen what the usage of <br />the Club was going to be for and was informed <br />it was for Club purposes, food and liquor <br />for members. Dongoske stated that he had <br />heard there were neighbors who were in <br />opposition to the proposed Club. All members <br />agreed the parking requirements were <br />met and that an approach should be made to <br />get approval for liquor and that a Public <br />Hearing should be held on this usage and <br />the Club itself. <br />Curry moved, Dongoske seconded, recommending <br />the above. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br />JAMES DUTCHER: Re zoning REZONING <br />The question of rezoning Lot 1, N?j of Lot 2, <br />Vern Mar Manor, Plat 43530, Parcel 700 § <br />1410 >as again discussed. The Chairman <br />voiceo opposition to rezoning one parcel, for <br />one contractor, for one building. <br />Curry moved, Nicholls seconded, that it be <br />recommended that the rezoning be denied. <br />Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br />Chairman Russell, speaking for all members, <br />asked that a letter be forwarded to Sidnssy <br />Belt, expressing their deep sympathy in <br />his illness, and showing appreciation for <br />his dedicated service during his tenure as <br />Secretary to the Planning Commission, and <br />that this letter also be published in the <br />Minnetonka Sun. <br />Curry moved, Nicholls seconded, that the <br />Meeting be adjourned at 9:00 P.M.Mike Scheller <br />Secretary Pro Tem <br />m
