VILLAGE OF ORONO <br />Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission, <br />July 21, 1969 <br />The Planning Commission met on the above <br />date with the following members present: <br />Bartig, Dongoske, McCarthy, and 3tubbs <br />representing the Council. Absent: <br />Chairman Russell, Nicholls, and O'Malley. <br />7:30 P.M. <br />. Steve Huss, representing the Minnetonka <br />, / Power Squadron, explained the purpose of <br />^ the squadron and showed plans for the <br />dredging and filling they wish to do on <br />the prooerty, presently owned by the <br />Doublewear Shoe Company. The panel <br />questioned Mr. Huss regarding sanitary <br />facilities, and marina usage. Mr. Huss <br />stated that they would go along with all <br />Village regulations as to the above. <br />Members recommended that marina usage be <br />studied further. <br />MINNETONKA POWER SQUADRON <br />John Lambin represented the Church of the <br />Open Door, and showed site plans of a <br />proposed addition to the church along with <br />long range plans for a new church incorporating <br />the old. The plan also showed proposed <br />parking areas. Since our present tax records <br />show a separation of church property from <br />the Char-Lynn Foundation property and the <br />church would be spilling into property <br />presently listed under the latter, members <br />asked questions as to the property status. <br />Mr. Lambin cxnlained that the entire property <br />is now listed under the name of Andromeda <br />Foundation. <br />Members recommended that approval be granted. <br />CHURCH OF THE OPEN DOOR <br />Members recommended that the garage setback <br />variance from the required 30’ front to 19* <br />and the required 10* sideyard setback to 5* <br />for Dr. John Alicnburg, 1720 Shadywood Road, <br />be approved. <br />VARIANCE <br />1720 Shadywood Road <br />Mr. Johnson did not appear as his application <br />stated he wished to do, so the matter was <br />tabled. <br />VARIANCE <br />Si grid Johnson <br />The realtor selling the property at 3600 CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />3600 Shoreline Drive
