r <br />The application of Robert Birkeland to continue <br />filling on an old fill permit issued in December, <br />1967, at his property at 1270 Wildhurst Trail <br />was reviewed, Nicholls moved, Kullberg seconded <br />that the fill be allowed if it is not in violation <br />of new Marshland Ordinance as proposed. 5 Ayes -0. <br />FILL PERMIT <br />Birkeland <br />The problems of prefab housing was informally dia- <br />cuaaed by members. A letter from Hil\.on Homes <br />regarding certification fees as well as an excerpt <br />from U.B.C. Magazine ^'Building Standards" was read <br />by Chairman Russell. Ihe Building Inspector <br />stated that under our present ordinances, the U.B.C* <br />adopted by reference, anything certixied by that <br />body would have to be allowed to be constructed in <br />the Village. Ho was of the opinion that the quality <br />of the two now certified by the U.B.C, do not como <br />up to others on the market, not certified. <br />PREFAB HOUSING <br />V <br />Since tho conaitruction season is nearly terminated <br />and there were no pressing peraits to bring any <br />prefabs in the Village, members recommended further <br />research on tho problems during the winter <aonths, <br />in corporating special ordinances governing prefab <br />construction enacted by other Villages, <br />Tho mooting was adjourned at 9:1x5 P*H« <br />Respectfully submitted. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Mike Schollor <br />Secretary
