The property is located within the I, Industrial <br />District ABC Supply Company has been operating as a wholesale building products warehouse and <br />oftlce within the existing building. The Orono Municipal Code permits •warchousing'and <br />wholesaling" in the 1 district. It is our position that the proposed use of the building for warehousing <br />and wholesaling is pemiitted. <br />Last year ABC moved onto the property and had used the outside lot for stop j of product. It was <br />our understanding the outdoor storage used on the lot last year w as due to the lack of interior storage <br />racks and those racks would be installed eliminating the need for outdoor storage. The zoning <br />regulations do 02l permit outdoor storage of any type No outside storage w ill be permitted w iihoui <br />a conditional use permit. <br />Outdoor storage is only allowed by a conditional use permit issued by the Orono City Council. The <br />required submittals for a conditional use permit will include at a minimum; <br />I. Complete Land Use/Conditional Use Permit application form (attached) <br />2 S350.00 application fee <br />3. Certified list of all property owners within 350‘ of the property. <br />4.
