Dunbar noted they are looking at StaBTs concerns and « <br />those Dunbar stated they could also remove the tower incorporated into the senior housing <br />facility. <br />EvebTi Schommer. 2106 Sugarwtiod Drive, inquired xshether any family members would be <br />able to reside with the senior residenU. <br />Dunbar stated under state law they arc not permitted to have family membera live m the senior <br />housing facilib unless they are married. <br />Schommer inquired whether there would be balconies on the building and what they would be <br />used fcr. <br />A resident in the audience inquired about the lighting and air-conditioning of the building. <br />Dunbar stated there w; 11 be air-conditioning units a\ ailable in each individual unit <br />Gaffron noted the Cit>' wiW require recessed outdoor lighting <br />Dunbar stated they need to construct a 70 unit facility in order to help keep the rent increases <br />to a minimum <br />Karl Berg 2112, Sucarwood Drive, commented he has a number of issuM he \vould like to <br />see addfrtsed Berg’stattd he would like to see the service road pass in front of the pn^rty <br />Berg inquired about the height of the building and lighting at night. Berg commented in his v lew <br />the senior housing dev clopment would make a good neighbor, with the concept plan being m <br />positive than negative. <br />Oaffron indicated the City could incoiporau a height rwtriction for this zoning district if they <br />should elect to do so. <br />Schommer commented the neighbors would like to be kept updated on the progress of thU <br />project. <br />PAGE 27 <br />i
