r VILLAGE OF ORONO <br />Regular Meeting of the Planning Connission, <br />March 15, 1971 <br />7:50 P.M. <br />#n.e Planning Coiemission net on the above <br />date with the following members present: <br />Chaiman Poisson, Butler, Gasch, Uerfnrth, <br />Parten, and Southworth. Absent: Dongoske, <br />Elliott, Kuhlemeier, Kullberg, and Nicliolls. <br />Councilman Dorn also present. <br />Henry Knoblauch, 815 Brown Road, Parcel <br />9014, Section 27, represented himself in a <br />division of his property into two lots. <br />Menbers studied his plat and also recently <br />divided property to the north and south. It <br />id that ti <br />DIVISION <br />815 Brown Road <br />was noted that the plat as submitted was <br />awkward and that by a rearrangement of lines <br />a better division could be made. Mr. Knoblauch <br />stated he merely wished to divide the six <br />plus acres into fvo lots to separate the <br />residence alr:'>.:lr :>n the property from a <br />parcel so he coula construct a new residence, <br />ile concurred with their thinking on the <br />rearrangement. <br />Gasch moved, Southworth seconded, that the <br />plat be modified and that he bring a <br />^preliminary plat to the Council as recom­ <br />mended by the Commission. Foresaid plat <br />is marked ’’Document A'* in the file and <br />divided into parcels "A** and ”B". Motion, <br />Ayes (6) • Nays (0). <br />Robert Taylor, 3940 Watertown Road, Section 32, <br />Parcel 4300, represented himself in an <br />application for a conditional use permit, <br />as required under Section 34.026 of the <br />Municipal Code, to construct a private <br />riding stable 50* X 60*. Since there was .a <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />3540 Watertown Road <br />mailing on this to affected property owners, <br />Mied to be heard.Poisson asked if anybody wished <br />After it was determined nobody wished to speak <br />on the matter, Mr. Taylor explained that he <br />had a stable and this was merely t private <br />place to ride in inclement weather, lie <br />stated he could not meet the 100’ setback as <br />required under the ordinance but would be <br />67’ from the Child property and 57’ from <br />the Dalton property. <br />Herfurth moved, Parten seconded, that a <br />^conditional use permit be recommended for <br />'a private riding stable and that a variance <br />be required to reduce the side setback from <br />100’.
