VILLAGE OF ORONO Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission. July 5, 1972 The Planning Commission met on the above date with the following members present: Chairman Poisson, Elliott, Gasch, Kullberg, and Searles. Absent: Hays, Nicholls, Ryerse, Southworth, and Van Nest. Discussion was held as to whether five members were a quorum. It was decided that 501 was a quorum. Kullberg moved, Elliott seconded, that the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of June 19, 1972, be approved. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). Hans Weiler represented himself in a rearrangement of Lots 6-20-21-22-23-30- 31-32-33, Sharp 6 Lindquists Fernhill, Brought out was: 1. Lot 6 was only to be used as a lake access for the remaining lots. 2. His present home was on Lots 20 6 21, ^ extending about 4* into Lot 22. 3. He wished to place a new house on the remainder of Lot 22 and all of Lot 23. • 41 He wds not adverse to combining Lots 30- 31-32-33 in any combination with Lots 20- 21-22-23. Searles moved, Elliott seconded, that recommendation be made that Lots 21-20-32-33 should be combined and Lots 22-23-30-31 should be combined and a line should be drawn between the two to allow the 10* setback required for the existing house. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). Howard Lindow, 1390 Rest Point Road, represented himself in a front garage setback from the required 35* to 21*. Brought out was: 1. Rest Point Road is a dead end street and the site is very near the end. 2. The 21* would give him room to park a car in front of the garage without blocking street traffic. In view of the above, Poisson moved, Searles seconded, that the variance be recommended. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). 7:30 P.M.
