They did not think <br />it possible to maintain this setback. <br />VARIANCE <br />1390 Rest Point Road <br />Poisson moved, Searles seconded, that Mr. <br />Lindow be required to make a survey showing <br />these dimensions. Motion, Ayes (7) - Nays (0). <br />Members recommended that an ordinance be <br />enacted requiring surveys for all building <br />permits and variances. <br />SURVEY - PROPOSED ORDINAN^ <br />Poisson moved, Searles seconded, that Rex <br />Ressler, 3683 North Shore Drive, bring a <br />good site plan and survey of his property. <br />Motion, Ayes (7) - Nays (0). <br />VARIANCE <br />3683 North Shore Drive <br />Members studied the plat map in the area of <br />Lot 17, Wallaces* Addition to Minnetonka Beach <br />where Scott l/hitnah, 3339 Crystal Bay Road, has <br />applied for a variance on lot size and frontage. <br />VARIANCE <br />3339 Crystal Bay Road <br />O <br />Members did not deem the $3,855 assessment <br />excessive and though there are many homes j <br />in thearea on the same size lots, they did <br />not feel the trend should be perpetuated. <br />Southworth moved, Searles seconded, that the <br />application be denied. Motion, Ayes (7) - <br />Nays (0). <br />Discussion was held on the possible use of Big <br />Island as a park and the resolution by the <br />Village Council to this end. Van Nest said <br />DIG ISLAND <br />he had received many calls from irate property <br />owners on the island protesting this resolution <br />being passed without any notification <br />property owners. <br />Searles explained the purpose of the resolution <br />was only to allow Hennepin County to make long <br />range plans on acquiring the island as a park. <br />Poisson moved, Searles seconded, that the <br />meeting be adjourned at 11:15 P.M.
