Motion, Ayes (8) • Nays <br />DIVISION <br />William Wear <br />Section 33, Parcel 6500 <br />At this time, the Transportation Committee <br />gave a summary on work being dene on the <br />following matters: <br />1. <br />TRANSPORTATl COMMITTEE <br />REPORT <br />Traffic counts throughout the Village. <br />2. Study of better usage of existing <br />transportation methods and further usage of <br />existing right of ways to alleviate trans­ <br />portation problems. <br />3. Arrangement for a joint meeting with our <br />neighboring Villages to enter into discussion <br />on '.;he problems invo]problems involved. <br />4. A meeting with Mr. Fred Schaschl of the <br />Metropolitan Transit Commission to obtain his <br />expertise in their study. The tentative <br />date has been set for April 18, 1972 at 7:30 P.N. <br />Herfurth stated study should be done on <br />granting construction variances on 50' lots <br />in situations where more vacant property is <br />available on either side, even if not held <br />by the sane property owner. He was of the <br />opinion that a 100* lot far exceeds the <br />value of a SO* lot front-foot wise. <br />CONSTRUCTION VARIANCES <br />Poisson moved, Searles seconded, that the <br />meeting adjourn at 8:15 P.M.
