MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING HELD JANUARY /j, 1972 Pag# 2 <br />tha proposal should call for 40 children et <br />would be some new changes brought out at the <br />public eeeting. <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />(Continued) <br />Searles aoved, Southworth seconded, that a <br />public hearing be ordered before the Planning <br />Commission on February 7, 1972, at 7:30 P.M. <br />Motion, Ayes (8) - Nays (0). <br />Discussion was now held on t«* transportation <br />studies. Searles was of the r inion that <br />these studies should aove forward at each <br />â– eeting so that direction froa the Planning <br />Coaaissioit and Village Council would be forth- <br />coaing when aeetings were held with County and <br />State Highway Departments. Also, the <br />possibility of using existing road beds, both <br />rail and highway, for purpose of rapid transit <br />on a large scale should be explored and the <br />transit companies should be approached with <br />the results of these studies to evaluate <br />the merits of these studies. Searles, <br />Southworth, Ryerse, and Gasch volunteered to <br />serve on a committee to do further study <br />along these lines. <br />TRANSPORTATION STUDY <br />Discussion was now held on having regular <br />Joint meetings with the Park Commission and Village Council. <br />JOINT MEETINGS <br />After a brief discussion on the various <br />possibilities for the usage of the Luce <br />Line Railroad, <br />Ryerse moved, Southworth seconded, that the <br />meeting be adjourned at 9:30 P.N.
