Kluth, and Smilh staled tlie\ are against the hose lower since no hardship has been <br />demonstrated <br />GafTioii stated no hardship is required for the hose lower, but that the Planning Commission needs to <br />look at the impact on the neighborhood and how it can be mitigated Galfron staled the primar> purpose <br />of the hose tower is for training <br />Kluth moved, Frit/ler seconded, to recommend denial of the conditional use permit for a <br />hose tower 35' in height. \'()TE: A>es 6, Nays 0. <br />Hawn inquired whether the Planning Commission would like to gi\e the Cii\ Council an\ admcmilions <br />concerning this project <br />Kluth noted other cities ha\e restrictions on uses m residential areas, and recommended the Coiineil <br />kx^k at limning the use of this facility <br />Smith recommended appropriate lighting for residential areas be utili/ed on this fire slalion. and <br />requested no neon or flashing lights be ulili/ed <br />1 law n recommended use of this building be confined to fire-related purposes <br />(Recess taken from 9:24 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.) <br />FACE 25
