§ 10.02 <br />28. "Guest House" - An accessory separate dwelling constructed on an e.xisting <br />undivided lot for the sole use of the occupants, including their domestic employees or their <br />non-paying guests, of the primary dwelling. All regular lot requirements shall be met by the guest <br />house. <br />Source: Municipal Code <br />Effective Date: 9-14-67 <br />29. "Hard Cover" - Any structure, blacktop or other material which interferes to any <br />degree with the direct absorption of rainfall into the ground. <br />Source: Ordinance No. 172 <br />Effective Date: 1-1-75 <br />—; <br />I 70 "Home Occupation" - Any gainful occupation meeting all of the following <br />requiren wtn wter engaged in only by persons residing in their dwelling, when that occupation is <br />conducicu ifiC principal structure only, when evidence of the occupation is not visible fro'n <br />the street. A professional person may use his residence <br />for consultation, emergency treatment or performance of religious rites but not for the general <br />practice of his profession when such general practice will involve the need for more than three off- <br />street parking spaces for the occupant and visitors. <br />31. "Hotel" - A building containing eight or more guest rooms in which lodging is <br />provided with or without meals for compensation and which is open to transient or permanent guests <br />or both, and where no provision is made for cooking in any guest room, and in which ingress and <br />egress to and from all rooms is made through an inside lobby or office superv ised by a person in <br />charge. <br />32. "Junk Yard" - An area where use, waste, discarded or salvaged materials are <br />bought, sold, e.xchanged, stored, baled, cleaned, packed, disassembled or handled, including but not <br />limited to scrap iron and other metals, paper, rags, rubber products, bottles and lumber.
