The Chaimen revlet^ <br />petition and noted that the Village Engineer oonfiymBid <br />the wetlands area at a total of one acre. Hcwever, the <br />Engineer's findings showed that the survey presented by the <br />petitioner included the road ri^t-of-^gey in oonputing the <br />total buildahle area. Biis reduced the HinAiMo area of <br />the proposed 1.73 acre lot to 1.47 acres, the 1.85 acre lot <br />to 1.57 acres and the 2.75 acre tract to 2.32 acres with the <br />one acre wetland area included. Previous concern as to a <br />cre^ naming thru the tract was unfounded and the creek's <br />location VBS not in the area of the petition. After aU <br />public present were given an opportunity to be heard, the <br />hearing was closed. <br />^ Qcono Planning Ocmmission met on the above date with the <br />following menbers present: Acting Chairman, C. Paul Fes^, <br />Members Hannah, IXmlap, Guthrie, Vto Nest, McDonald and <br />Cu^. Zoning Achiinistrator, Hank Mtihich. Absent: Wbolley, <br />Hake and Kallestad. <br />Ifannah moved, Qartis seconded, that the Minutes of the Plan- <br />T^ng Connission Meeting held November 3, 1975, be aipproved. <br />btion. Ayes (7) - Nays (0). <br />moved, Vhn Nest seconded, that the Planning Con- <br />mission would not reoomnend to the Ooincil approval of the <br />Ulmer Construction Company subdivision as it was presently <br />proposed but would table the petition until the applicant <br />could present an alternate plan showing only two lots as <br />the entire parcel consists of only 4.36 dry buildable area <br />in a two acre zoned district. Motion, Ayes (7) - Nays (0). <br />Carol Ann Bialcn petitioned the Oommission to construct a <br />deck onto her house which would require a variance of 14 ft. <br />fron the lakeshoie setback reguiranent. The deck was pre­ <br />sently in existence having been constructed without a building <br />permit. When oonstruction weus suspended, it was discovered <br />tuet the addition did not oonply with setback requirements. <br />She described the dedc as' being of open wood oonstruction and <br />set about three ft. off the ground, it could be a pro­ <br />bable oonoem for the future, the Zoning Actodnistiator noted <br />that someday someone might want to add a overhead covering <br />to the deA or otherwise make the deck more solid than the <br />one existing vbich would make a more substantial increase of <br />#**jrdcover. Mb. Bialcn requested and was informed as to the <br />wealing of hardoover. Guthrie moved, Hannah seconded, that <br />the Planning Ocmmission reoammend to the Council approval of <br />^9 lakeshore setback variance application of Carol Ann Bialon <br />mt that approval was on condition that the deck be of an open <br />type ocnstructioi and that no oovering be put lum it.
