m <br />© <br />Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission, June 16, <br />1975 Pg- 2 <br />The regular meeting was called to order. <br />Dunlap moved. Van Nest seconded approval of the Minutes <br />of the June 2, 1975 meeting. <br />MINUTES <br />Discussion followed on the request for PRD and rezoning <br />for !ferrick Circle. <br />HERRICK CIRCLE <br />Van Nest moved, Dunlap seconded, that the Planning <br />Coiiinission reconinend to Council that Iferrick Circle be <br />rezoned R-IA instead of the proposed R-IB and fiirther that <br />the Conditional Use be granted for PRD based on six <br />single family detached dwellings, meeting all requirements <br />of the PRD zoning code provided that developer provide <br />sanitary sewer at his expense connecting to the Wayzata <br />system. This sewer connection will meet the requirements <br />of the Village of Wayzata and Orono. Further recomnendation <br />that the project be done on a contractual basis, also con <br />ditioned on verification of the Village Engineer that six <br />acres do in fact exist, further that sewer be provided <br />before any units are completed and no occupancy will be <br />allowed until such time. Motion, Ayes (7), Nay (0). <br />Guthrie pointed out that his term of office expires <br />July 1. Van Nest nominated Paul Pesek for Vice Chair <br />man, John Hake for Chairman, John Guthrie for liaison. <br />Dunlap seconded. Ayes (7), Nay (0). <br />NOMINATION OF OFFICERS <br />Hake moved, Guthrie seconded that starting at the next <br />meeting (June 30) through the meeting of Septanber 2, <br />meetings will begin at 7:00 p.m. Motion, Ayes (7), <br />Nay (0). <br />SUNfiER SaiEDULE <br />TIME aiANGE <br />Richard Petrin presented his request for a variance <br />from front and side yard setbacks in order to build <br />an addition with garage on his home. Van Nest stated <br />this lot should be considered as one acre not two <br />as the lot has only a 50’ frontage vhich would be <br />a variance of 3’ side and 15’ from the road. <br />VARIANCE <br />Richard Petrin <br />1520 Long Lake Blvd. <br />Guthrie moved.
