Cleon <br />Hildens for variance for lot size and street setback. <br />Van Nest moved, Kallestad seconded, recamnendation to <br />Council for approval based on the condition that no <br />variance be required for side yard, lakeshore, or street <br />setback with the exception of the existing garage vdiich <br />is at present 3* from street and side yard lot lines, <br />and that we would allow a variance for the existing garage. <br />Motion, Ayes (6), Nay (0). It was also suggested that <br />a survey be submitted before building permit is issued. <br />VARIANCE <br />Cleon Hildens <br />1240 Spruce PI. <br />Jerry Bailey and Paul Beman from Bailey and Associates, <br />Mr. Lou Oberhauser, and Mr. Norm Nafstad presented <br />the new Herrick Circle proposal. The new plan provides <br />for only six structures and eight living units rather <br />than the originally proposed ten structures and ten <br />living units. <br />The sewer, which will be brought in and paid for by <br />the Contractor and connected to the Wayzata sewer, <br />will be billed through Orono. <br />It was brou^t out that this proposal consists of 6.1 <br />acres, not the S^i originally thought. The dedicated <br />right-of-way on Old Crystal Bay Road is not included <br />m this acreage. There is apinoximately 151 hardcover <br />including all structures and driveways, and all houses <br />will be of similar architecture. <br />Van Nest moved, Kallestad seconded that we hold a IHiblic <br />Hearing at the earliest possible date on rezoning and PRD <br />conditional use. The date for the public hearing was <br />set for June 16, 1975. Motion, Ayes (5), Nay (b). <br />Abstain (1), McDonald. <br />Mr. ^thrie stated for the record that Planning Com <br />mission menbers tdio are unable to attend the meeting <br />advise the Village office as far in advance as possible. <br />Van Nestf explained that an application for variance <br />in the Apple Hill area by John Famham had just been <br />sulmiitted to tte Village office and that since other <br />similar situations in this area had been approved by <br />council recently, perhaps the Planning Commission <br />could recomnend approval without having a packet on <br />same. <br />HERRICK CIRCLE <br />Riblic Hearing Set <br />VARIANCE <br />John Famham <br />2655 Lydiard Ave. <br />i
