CITY OF <br />Regular Meeting of the Planning Canmission, January 20, <br />1975 <br />The Planning Condssion met on the above date with the <br />following meebers present: CSiaiman Guthrie, Curtis, <br />Gasch, Pesek, Hake, Woolley, Hannah, McDonald; Van Nest <br />arriving at 9:25 p.m., Councilmenber Paurus. Absent: <br />Kallestad, Dunlap <br />Chairman Guthrie deferred action on the Minutes of the <br />Deceaiber meeting until the next meeting. <br />Mr. Butterfield presented request to replace buildings <br />on conditional use for the operation of the existing <br />nursery from an existing 3,008 sq. ft. to 4,500 sq. ft., <br />in keeping with the 5 acre zoning for agricultural business. <br />Gasch moved. Hake seconded recomaendation to Council <br />that the conditional use permit be approved as proposed. <br />Motion, Ayes (8), Nay (0). <br />Mr. Jensen presented his request for variance from a var­ <br />iance agreement to allow old dwelling to remain as storage <br />died. Mr. Guthrie reviewed the history of this variance <br />request with members. Discussion followed that the porches <br />on both ends of the building should be removed in or^r <br />to make the building look more li!ce a storage shed. <br />Jensen stated he would like to install a garage door on <br />this shed in the future for boat storage. <br />Curtis moved, Guthrie seconded, that the request be <br />tabled until we can confer with the Village Attorney on <br />the legality of this variance request, and until the <br />Jensen's could present the Planning Commission with <br />statement from adjacent property owners and plat map <br />showing building dimensions and lot size. Motion, <br />Ayes (8), Nay (0). <br />Mr. Gagne et al presented a request for rezoning of <br />20 acres at Hwy. 12 and Old Crystal Bay Rd. from two <br />acre residential unsewered to multiple residential - <br />six units per acre. Mr. Gagne owns 80 acres at this <br />location and an overall conceptual plan for land use <br />of the entire parcel with proposed traffic patterns <br />and future development was presented.
