Since <br />the Zoning Adainistrator's report has not been <br />conpleted, action by the Planning Commission <br />regarding this request night be premature. <br />VARIANCE <br />2341 Shadywood Road <br />Searles moved, Elliott seconded, that Mr. <br />Maravelas* request for a variance from the <br />sign ordinance be tabled. Motion, Ayes (8) - Nays (0). • j \ j <br />Searles moved, Elliott seconded, that the <br />Planning Commission go on record favoring <br />signs no larger than two square feet for <br />any hone occupation or other coamercial <br />uses in a residential area. Motion, Ayes (8) - Nays (0). • f \ f <br />RESIDENTIAL SIGNS <br />Indoor Tennis, Inc. would like to construct <br />an athletic club for tennis, swimming, hand <br />ball. etc. Such a use in a residential zone <br />requires a conditional use permit. <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />885 Wayzata Boulevard <br />Searles moved, Gasch seconded, that a public <br />hearing be called for the September 17, 1973 <br />Planning Coaaission meeting 'regarding the <br />conditional use. Motion, Ayes (8) - Nays (0). <br />Chairman Paurus suggested to the Zoning <br />Adainistrator that a sheet summarizing <br />the request and the issues involved be <br />available for the public.
