MINUTES OP A REGULAR MEETING HELD JULY 16. 1973 Page 3 <br />Mr, Gobel is requesting that the Village grant <br />a variance from the setback* requirements from <br />both the road right>of-wa/ and the side yard <br />for the construction of a garage. Because <br />there is a tree between the house and proposed <br />garage and the lot is only 57* wide, it was <br />determined that a variance from the zoning <br />requirements was justified. <br />VARIANCE <br />1400 Cherry Place <br />Van Nest moved. Hays seconded, that a variance <br />be approved to allow a 20' setback from road <br />right-of-way and 6' setback from the side <br />property line. Motion, Ayes (7) - Nays (0). <br />; <br />Mr. Duncan's request for a variance from the <br />ISO' setback requirement for a stable was <br />tabled until the August meeting so the <br />commissioners could inspect tJie property <br />personally. <br />VARIANCE <br />4760 West Branch Road <br />Mrs. Plant's original request for a variance <br />of 14' from the 35' setback requirement from <br />the road was modified. Mrs. Plant's second <br />proposal would require a variance of 7.S'. <br />Mrs. Plant needs the north light for her <br />portrait painting and she claims that she <br />cannot construct this addition without a <br />variance. <br />VARIANCE <br />224S Watertown Road 1 <br />Searles moved. Kullberg seconded, that a <br />variance of 7,5' be approved. Motion. <br />Ayes (7) - Nays (0). <br />Guthrie moved. Elliott seconded, that the <br />Doleman request for a variance be tabled <br />until the petitioner appears before the <br />Planning Commission to explain why the variance <br />of 3' and the additional garage space is needed. <br />Motion, Ayes (7) - Nays (0). <br />VARIANCE <br />1680 Shadywood Road <br />Kullberg moved that the meeting be adjourned. <br />Motion died for lack of a second. <br />Kullberg left Council Chambers at 10:00 P.M.n <br />Mrs. iiutler reviewed the findings of the <br />Navarre Task Force with the Planning Commission. <br />The Planning Commission had the following <br />conuiients regarding the report: <br />NAVARRE TASK FORCE REPORT <br />f 1 <br />1.
