The City should review and restate current policy to <br />guide any and all development in the coming years. <br />8. The area includes the new DNR acquisition of Wolsfeld Woods. <br />The effect on Orono and on the immediate neighboring properties should <br />be reviewed. <br />For all these reasons and likely others yet to surface, I believe a <br />review of this area deserves early priority. <br />I recommend the Planning Comnission call a public hearing for residents <br />and affected parties, probably at the first meeting in April. ^ <br />I recommend the Council consider adoption of a moratorium ordinance <br />for the area to prohibit new building permit and new subdivision <br />applications. I see no immediate reason to stop review of any of the <br />applications now pending.
