iM mtmfm <br />MINUTES OF A PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING HELD ON JULY 23. 1979 <br /># page 2 <br />The 'eneral consensus of the Planning Comnission was <br />the.,, the boat repair was the same type of use as <br />the auto body and was a cleaner, better operation. <br />Mr. Jeff Johnson. 1145 Loma Linda, was present. <br />He had no objection to the operation; his only <br />request was that a fence be placed between his <br />and Mr. Duehn's property to definitely separate <br />them. Planning Commission felt the number and <br />size u£ the boats being stored should be specified. <br />KK 6e KOMPANY <br />1140 North Arm Drive <br />COND. USE PERMIT <br />(#489) Cont. <br />Wilson moved to recommend approval of the Conditional <br />Use Permit subject to the following conditions: <br />m <br />Fence to be constructed along rear lot line <br />(east line of property). <br />Boat storage, other than that serviced by the <br />garage, will be limited to no more than 20 <br />boats on the property at one time. <br />No boats to be stored higher than bank on north <br />side of property. <br />Car repair permitted during winter months <br />(Oct. 1 through March 31). Repair to be carried <br />on inside the facility - no car permitted to be <br />parked outside, and <br />Subject to yearly review upon complaints by neighbors <br />or at staff request. <br />""•T r-iiSF <br />■i <br />Motion seconded by Adams. Vote: Ayes (7), Nays (0). <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Mr. and Mrs. Smerling were present. Mabusth entered <br />into the record that the Minnehaha Creek Watershed <br />District will not require a permit for the <br />construction of the wall provided that: 1) the <br />construction is above the 931.5 contour line, <br />2) wetlands are not involved, and 3) there are <br />no changes in the shoreline. USE PERMIT <br />(#492) <br />m <br />Frahm moved to recommend approval of the Conditional <br />Use Permit for the retaining wall and refilling a <br />portion of the bank in accordance with plans <br />submitted contingent on completion by September 15, 1979 <br />Motion seconded by Hammerel. Vote: Ayes (7), Nays (0). <br />Motion passed unanimously.
