I <br />0 <br />MINUTES OF A PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING HELD ON APRIL 23, 1979 <br />Page 2 <br />The City engineer stated that the sewer and <br />water capacities are okay; he recommended taking <br />the drainage and utility easements surrounding <br />each lot; would require a lot grading plan; <br />would need more information regarding the proposed <br />retention pond and storm water retention facilities, <br />and would also require a drainage easement for the <br />wetlands to the wect on the Tonka Toy Property. <br />Frahm stdted concern regarding the drainage problems <br />already existing in the neighborhood and the effect <br />this development would have on this already existing <br />problem. He was also concerned that the development <br />was within the required 1,000 foot setback from the <br />lakeshore at three points. <br />Hammerel moved to table the P.R.D. application until <br />further study of the drainage problems and the <br />traffic Impact could be completed, receipt of <br />recomnendations from the Police Department and the <br />Park Commission, and to give staff time to review <br />the lakeshore setbacks. Motion seconded by Hurr. <br />Vote: Ayes (7), Nays (0). Motion passed unanimously. <br />Wilson annotmced the public meeting. Mr. Petersen <br />was present as well as Mrs. Olson the property owner. <br />Mabusth stated she had the Affidavit of Publication <br />and Certificate of Mailing. She also noted phone <br />calls from: Louis J. Larson, 1396 Baldur Park Road <br />who had no objections to the proposed plat and <br />Theodore Boer,. 1392 Baldur Park Road regarding the <br />access road (he was present at this meeting).
