w . / V <br />m <br />i , . *1 <br />MINUTES OF A PUNNING COMMISSION MEETING HELD ON APRIL 23, 1979 <br />The Planning Comnlsslon met on the above date. <br />Present were the following members: Chairman Wilson, <br />Hannah, McDonald, Adams, Frahm, Hammerel and Hurr. <br />Mabusth represented the City staff. <br />Wilson announced the public meeting. Mr. Johnston <br />and his representative, Mr. Herfurth, were present. <br />Mabusth stated she had the Affidavit of Publication <br />and Certificate of Mailing. Mr. and Mrs. Burt Corwin <br />were present representing the Hendel property. Their <br />main concern with the plat was the effect it would <br />have on an existing 16* road easement through the <br />Johnston property which served the Hendel property. <br />Mabusth stated that the City is satisfied with the <br />road as shown and the 16* road easement would have <br />to be resolved between' the property owners. However, <br />the City engineer has recommended moving the access <br />further north for safety requirements which falls <br />within the Hendel property abutting Willow Drive. <br />Hurr moved to table the subdivision to provide the <br />applicant time to work out the access point and <br />the easement question with the abutting property <br />owners. Motion seconded by Hammerel. <br />Vote: Ayes (6), Nays (0), Abstained (1) <br />Wilson abstained as Mr. Johnston is a client of his <br />firm. <br />Wilson announced the public meeting. Mr. HussmAh <br />and Mr. Hansen (Schoell Madson) were present. <br />Mabusth stated she had the Affidavit of Publication <br />and Certificate of Mailing. Mr. and Mrs. Carlson, <br />3498 North Shore Drive, were present and expressed <br />concerns for the traffic generated by such a <br />development. Mabusth stated that she had not yet <br />received a recommendation from the Park Commission <br />or the Police Department.
