m <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES OF MARCH 16, 1981 <br />The site appeared to be In operation for <br />quite a few years. It appeared that the <br />majority of the drainage was to the rear <br />of the property and neighboring properties <br />have sustained no damage. <br />Cook would recommend removal of the fill <br />In the designated wetland area and removal <br />of concrete blocks itnd large rocks to allow <br />for proper ma1ntev;*»^*e. Side of fill area <br />to be graded to 4:1 slope. Hay bales to be <br />placed along edge of the wetlands to prevent <br />sedimentation. <br />Hubbell stated the operation has been going <br />on for 15 years. <br />Jabbour moved to table the Conditional Use <br />Permit subject to the review of the City <br />Engineer's report at the April 6th meet <br />ing of the Planning Commission. <br />Motion was seconded by Goetten. Vote <br />Ayes (6), Nays (0) <br />Mr. and Mrs. Pugh were present. No one <br />else was present to address application. <br />Staff advised that the application re <br />quired a lot width variance because In <br />affect we are dealing with a new home. <br />Staff noted that the setback of the exist <br />ing houses are all set back farther than <br />the 75ft. setback and therefore, an average <br />setback determination is necessary, an average <br />lakeshore setback for the lakeshore deck <br />and an average setback for the principle <br />structure. The purpose of all Is to protect <br />the lakeshore view of the existing homes. <br />Jabboup moved to approve the lot area and <br />lot width variance of De Ell Pugh subject <br />to the finding that the property has been <br />accessed for sewer, there Is an existing <br />structure and there was no additional <br />land available and subject to the following <br />condltions; <br />1. The removal of the garage by the road. <br />2.
