Vote: Ayes (3), Nays (0). <br />Larry Hork and Bruce Douglas, applicant's attorney, NORTH SHORE MARINA <br />were present. Members were concerned that no action 1981 Marina Licens <br />had been taken on the 1980 Marina license application. <br />The committee agreed that action be taken on last <br />year's license application before they can consider <br />the current application. <br />Hurr moved to deny the 1980 Marina license application <br />si^ject to the findings that substantiate the many <br />violations of both City and L.M.C.D. ordinances. <br />Motion seconded by Jabbour. Vote: Ayes (3), Nays (0). <br />Douglas asked that the committee reconsider the motion <br />because of the many unanswered questions that remain <br />concerning North Shore Marina. Committee stated <br />that they are just a recommending body and that Council <br />need not accept the recommendation. <br />Hork and Douglas stated that "grandfather credit" should <br />be considered for marinas long in operation. Douglas <br />questioned the legal definition of dock use area. It <br />would appear that that area is continually being redefined.
