I-1 \S AC. <br />IIM'IM I’ft I' <br />December 5, 1980 <br />Planning Commission <br />City of Orono <br />Orono, Minnesota <br />Re:Robert White Proposed Subdivision, Tract A, RLS 1098, <br />with requested variance <br />Gentlemen: <br />Enclosed is a letter from John Morrison, President of <br />Woodhill Country Club, conveying the opposition of the Trustees <br />to the requested variance. <br />At the Trustees' meeting, the questions of "why the <br />variance", "what is the hardship if not granted", arose. I could <br />not answer those.questions since nothing along those lines had <br />been presented at the hearing in November or in Mr. White's note <br />t.o the Council to which the proposed subdivision was attached <br />Unfortunately, I will be out of town December 8-18 so <br />cannot attend your meeting on the 16th.
