r -\ <br />Page 2 PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE <br />PART C of the project consists of upgrading and widening of <br />Blaine Avenue and related street improvements between Crystal Place <br />and Shoreline Boulevard. The estimated cost of this part of <br />the project is $59,430.00 (or $73,120.00 with optional extension <br />of Lyric Avenue into the Schlee Builders, Inc. plat) which cost is <br />proposed to be assessed: <br />1) Partially to each commercial property abutting Blaine <br />Avenue between Shoreline Boulevard and Lyric Avenue. <br />2) Partially to City property abutting Blaine Avenue <br />between Lyric Avenue and Livingston Avenue. <br />3) Partially to the property being subdivided by <br />Schlee Builders, Inc. as legally described in <br />Part B above. <br />4) Partially to the vacant land located on Lots 2 & 3 <br />and to the west 6 feet of Lot 4, Block 9, Towns!te <br />of Langdon Park. <br />PART D of the project consists of constructing a lateral <br />sanitary sewer lj.ne to serve properties abutting Northern Avenue <br />for its entire length between the railroad crossing at Blaine <br />Avenue and the western City-limits of Orono, including all or a <br />portion of Lots 6, 7, 8, 9 & 10, Block 10, Towns!te of Langdon <br />Park; Tracts B & C, RLS 763; and that part of Lot 8, Block 2, <br />Wiley's Park which abutts Northern Avenue. The estimated cost <br />of this part of the project is $72,740.00, which cost is proposed <br />to be assessed to said properties. <br />A feasibility report is available for review in the City offices <br />during normal business hours.
