m ■ r. <br />MINUTES OF A PLANNING COMISSICN MEETING HELD JUNE 20, 1977 - PAGE 3 <br />After some discussion, Hannah moved, Guthrie seconded, to <br />recomncnd approval with the stipulation that we do not <br />approve any grading within 75 ft. of the lalceshore except <br />^fpT a small area around the existing grape aihor, and that <br />^4ne proposed sod removal and replacement be done within an <br />8-hour period and in such a manner so as to control any <br />siltation during the work. <br />Motion - Ayes (6), Nays (0). <br />Applicant was not present. As:»t. Zoning Administrator informed <br />the Coirmission that a John Waataja, son of the owner of Lots <br />10, 11 8 13, was in the City Office to check on the require <br />ments for these lots. Mr. Waataja was informed of the present <br />variance request and advised to contact Home Federal Savings <br />8 Loan to try and arrange a combination of properties. <br />McDonald moved, Dunlap seconded, to table this application <br />pending receipt of further information. Motion - Ayes (6), <br />Nays (0). <br />Asst. Zoning Administrator advised thac the applicant is <br />requesting a lot area and width variance for an addition <br />to the existing dwelling as well as an attached garage. <br />Proposal indues removal of existing garage and founda <br />tion. The existing building and proposal meets all the <br />quired setbacks.0 <br />Applicant was not present. Mr. Lorenz, neighboring property <br />owner, was present. He had no objection to the proposal. <br />After a brief discussion, McDonald moved, Dunlap seconded, <br />to recommend approval given the fact that there is no other <br />land available, proposal meets all setback requirements, <br />and sid)ject to the removal of existing garage. <br />Motion - Ayes (6), Nays (0). <br />Mr. Hall arrived and was advised of the action that was <br />taken. <br />Mr. 8 Mrs. Ki^asch were present. They are requesting <br />approval of a variance for an addition to an existing <br />home on a substandard lot. Survey indicates the addition <br />to be located on the west or rear of existing home. The <br />existing dwelling is located extremely close to the County <br />right-of-way. However, the proposed addition would not <br />reduce the existing setback conditions. <br />Asst. Zcxiing Administrator informed the Commission that this <br />dwelling is in the sewer district, but there is no record of <br />any swer connection. This connection is required. Mr. <br />J^asch stated that when he purdiased this home he was <br />^^fonned that they were hooked up to the sewer. He <br />Deen paying a quarterly sewer charge. The Asst.
