Motion» <br />Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br />S3JT3 was present to describe the circunstances of <br />tiiis after-the fact proposal and to argue against ■ installa* <br />ticn ox a catch basin in the drain line as requested by <br />John Gerhardson, Road S^pelvisOt. Glen Sauer of 4104 <br />wco i was present to say that he has had no problem or <br />ccnplaint about the drainage thru this area since a plugging <br />prcbl-ni of the private tile line was corrected last year. <br />Ha]:3 noved, Dunlap seconded, to recomnend approval of the <br />Conditicnal Use Peimit for filling subject to the following: <br />1) Pcmoval of excessive fill from around existing trees <br />so S5 to pi event their destruction. <br />2) Pi direction of the graded banks to avoid erosion and <br />interference with the sewer easement. <br />Ti Cc?i>inatiun of lots 9 and 10 into one parcel. <br />■f) AjrCwjnent of this and adjacent landowners to sign a <br />"hold-harmless agreement" concern^ any drainage <br />I roblems or maintenance of the private tile line. <br />5) invosti^ation and recoinnendations of the Village <br />Fnsincer as concerns the need for a catch basin at <br />the intersection of the Village culvert and the <br />^•rivate tile line. <br />livcicn, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br />riscucsicn developed concerning the history of this after- <br />th‘“f;ict proposal including ad^tional work being done <br />after the owner was notified to stop work. Pesek moved, Hake seconded, to recomnend approval <br />c£ tiiO terracing subject to the following: <br />1) Xrri'jc’iate (within 30 days) removal of the creosoted <br />tiivbor seawall. <br />2) nx-placemcnt of the seawall with approved stone rip- <br />r.?p. <br />3) Approval of the other agencies involved of both the <br />seu/^all and the terracing. <br />^btion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br />ibis item was acted upon by the Council without referral <br />to t\o Plarjiing Commission and was discussed here for <br />iiir oxTiiatlon only. Councilman Welsh was present to ask for <br />the Commission's ccxnnents on this proposal.
