Inspect ran revealed a large <br />rill, up to 10 ft. hig^ and covering the bases of three large trees, made next <br />to i^r garara with material excavated from your neij^or's construction site. <br />infOmtion fron the Orono Street Department indicates that portions of the fill <br />nay have covered the outlet of a 24 inch culvert under Hi^wood Roiul. <br />This letter is n^ification that the above described situation is in violation <br />of tte Orono Zming Code, Section 31.700 which prohibits the filling of any Und <br />2f ^ Jjteration of ^ existing natural grade within the City of Orono without <br />first obtaraing a taditional Use Permit from the City Gouicil. Section 31.705 <br />Sr****^^*w^^ application for such permit be accon^ied by a Certificate of <br />^ extent and anomt of any filling, plus a depositw€ of |40«00 <br />Please contact be tefore Monday, March 22, 1976, concerning resolution of this <br />natter.
